Scope and Contents:
This collection contains documents collected by C. E. Tucker, Jr. in 1855-1925. The collection consists of two Court of Common Pleas in 1855 and 1861 (documents similar to others in the Public Record Office which, except for samples, have been destroyed); bonds of the City of Philadelphia and of its District of Richmond which lapsed in 1880 and 1893; five expired bonds of the Minnesota Gold Mining Co. of Phoenix, Ariz., 1918-1924, and one such bond of Gibson City, Ill., 1925; 25 cancelled checks of the First National Bank, Urbana, Ill., 1899-1909; a photograph of a Union Army military order related to the pursuit of Confederate guerrilla John S. Mosby, 1964; a check from the Canal National Bank in Protland; and a Florida motor vehicle certificate, 1919.
