In this letter to Sen. Thomas Henry Carter on Apr. 24, 1911, William Mason (1850-1921), who served in Congress, not only comments on the disputed election of William Lorimer to the U.S. Senate, but also indicates his own interest in being the Republican nominee in 1912.
