Description: Papers of Leo Lavatelli (1917-98 ), professor of physics (1950-79), including correspondence (1951-79), reports, contracts, calculations, programs, publications and manuscripts relating to physics instruction and related experimentation; electricity and magnetism research; Los Alamos University lecture notes (1943-46); Physics Department dinners, parties, and skits (1940-42, 1948-69); electric delay line research (1951-56); Projects Quick Fix (1951-53, 1958-59) and Mink Refax (1958-59); sabbatical research leave at the University of Bologna (1957-60); research on data processing in high energy physics (1959-62); letter of recommendation (1964-79) and physics publication (1960-65, 1969-73). This series also includes correspondence, photographs, and architectural plans for a house Celia and Leo Lavatelli had designed by Harry Weese and constructed in Aspen Colorado (1968-70).
