Digital Surrogates from the John Bardeen Papers contain a digitized copy of a typewritten document including handwritten notations of a Master's thesis by Bardeen student Newton Bernardes, entitled "Theory of specific heat of superconductors based on an energy gap model." Additional digital audio files of two lectures given by Bardeen on his electrical engineering work with the development of transistors are also included.
