University of Illinois Bulletins, a series of printed issuances published by the Press for colleges, departments and offices, containing announcements, catalogs, reports of research, scholarly monographs and journals and related material.

The University Press Board, created in 1957,1 advises the Director of the Press on matters of policy and administration. Its membership includes the Director of the Press, the Deans of the Graduate Colleges or their representatives, and five appointed faculty members. The President chooses these five after consultation with the Director of the Press and the Chairman of the University Council on Graudate Education and Research.2
