Digital Surrogates from the Student Ledger Books contains digitized images of 8 folio volumes including page summaries of 5,825 student academic records (March, 1868-December, 1902) showing students' name, address, age, birthplace; entrance date; name and occupation of parent or guardian (September 1885-1902); curriculum; course titles and grades; type and date of degree conferred; and remarks (some include a record of high school subjects). This series also includes a spreadsheet index to the 8 folio volumes and a digitized copy of a typewritten alphabetical index for 8,013 students, listing name; degree; file number; matriculation number, and date of entrance.
