Caption on back reads, "This aerial taken from the South overlooks the Assembly Hall and Memorial Stadium. Providing one of the most outstanding athletic plants in the country, varsity football is played in the Stadium and varsity basketball in the Assembly Hall. The 71, 000-seat Memorial Stadium honors the University's dead from World War I. The multi-purpose Assembly Hall has 16,000 fixed seats with additional capacity of 1,500 to 2,000 for such events as convocations, commencement or concerts when floor area is used for movable chairs."
