Digital Surrogates from the Donald A. and Helen O. Lowrie Papers contain digitized correspondence concerning official trips to Christiania (currently Oslo), Kiev, and different Russian cities; a tentative offer of foreign post by Carlisle.V. Hibbard of the YMCA; work with Austro-Hungarian prisoners of war at Tomsk; and YMCA war prisoners aid. Digitized materials also include a newspaper clipping about extremely severe treatments at Russian prisoner camps.
