Description: Papers of Paul H. Tracy (1894-1974), 1920, MS 1922, Ph.D. 1930, professor of Dairy Manufacturing, later Dairy Technology (1920-59), and specialist in ice cream and milk production technology. The papers include publications, reprints, research project reports, correspondence and agenda for conferences including Diary Technology Conferences, University of Illinois Dairy Manufactures Short Course (1936, 1940) and Ice Cream Short Course (1938, 1940-41). Correspondence and agenda for American Dairy Science Association meetings include Tracy's 1948 Presidential address. The series includes copies of Diary Technology Alumni Newsletter (1943-44, 1949-52), which Tracy wrote and correspondence and announcements of the creation of the Paul H. Tracy Award by the Chicago Dairy Technology Society (1976).
