Correspondence pertaining to the participation of Phineas L. Windsor, Director of the Illinois State Library School and Librarian of the University, in the activities of the American Library Association - as a member of committees concerned with college and university libraries and education for librarianship. The major correspondents are the secretaries of the American Library Association: Chalmers Hadley (1909-11), George B. Utley (1911-April 1920) and Carl H. Milam (April 1920-1948).
