Papers of Oliver Morton Dickerson, A.M. '03 and Ph.D. '06 (1875-1966), containing handwritten notes of "Contemporary American Revolutionary Material, 1765-1775", prepared from American and British newspapers, published pamphlets and manuscript collections in America and Great Britain. Subjects include Admiralty Courts, agriculture, appointment of governors, Black population, Boston Massacre, churches, commerce, trade and trade regulations, Committees of Correspondence, Continental Congress, customs commissioners, forests and naval stores, fur trade, import duties, impressment, Indian affairs, Lexington and Concord, manufacturers, Navigation Act, non-importation, Quebec Act, Repressive Acts, soldiers and military preparations, Sons of Liberty, Stamp Act, tea and tea parties, treaties and writs of assistance.

The series also includes brief research and lecture notes on current events (1920's) and related American history topics.
