Correspondents include Attorney Generals of Illinois, construction companies and contractors, insurance agents, legislators, State Attorneys, litigants and attorneys involved in property and personal damage suits, official at other universities, university architects, bursars, comptroller, deans, presidents, purchasing agents, registrars and treasurers, and Urbana-Champaign government officials. The Legal Counsel served as Secretary to the Faculty along with patent applications from faculty (1921-57).
