Papers of Leonard L. Steimley (1890-1975), Ph.D. '20, professor of Mathematics (1945-58), including grade books (1917-22) for Mathematics courses taught when he was an instructor and associate (1920-45), correspondence (1920-22, 1927-29, 1932-34, 1939-46, 1953) relating to his philatelic interests and business, care for his mother in Attica, Indiana and settlement of family estate (1941-44), patriotic envelope covers for the Civil War and World War II periods, and exams (c. 1940s). For stamped World War II patriotic covers, see the Archives' philatelic collection. The Papers include music programs (1915-32) for concerts in Kansas, Illinois and Chicago. Steimley played the bass.
