Name: Philip H. Martin

Historical Note: Philip Martin is a retired lawyer currently residing in Sullivan, Illinois. He grew up in Sullivan and attended the University of Illinois, Oxford University and Harvard Law School. He practiced law in Chicago commencing in 1968 and also taught as an adjunct professor of law at Northwestern University School of Law for some fifteen years. He and his wife Nina, who practiced as a clinical psychologist, made their home in Evanston, IL where they raised a son (Andy) and daughter (Sarah). After they both retired, they built a home outside Sullivan. After Nina's death in 2019, Philip continues to live among his friends in Sullivan, where he pursues his musical and other personal interests.
