Papers of Philip Kolb (1907-92), professor of French (1946-75), including correspondence, course materials, grant files, manuscripts, clippings, calendars (1958-86), grade books (1945-75), and accounts (1948-72) relating to locating and editing the correspondence of Marcel Proust, financial support of research in France, travel arrangements, graduate courses, and publications.  This series also includes professor Kolb's research and bibliographic note cards on Marcel Proust, events and places noted in Proust's letters, and Proust's correspondence.
