Papers of Ernest Bernbaum (1879-1958), Professor of English (1916-45) contains publications relating to English Romanticism, Wordsworth Centenary (1950), and correspondence (1853-1891) to and from Bernbaum and Christiansen family members in North Germany and Denmark and from Christiansen family members sailing in Asia, especially Malaysia and containing observations on climate, marine life, conditions and places in Asia, including Bangkok, Penang, Singapore, and Rangoon as well as letters from Christiansen and Bernbaum family members in the United States.
