Name: Adrian H. Lindsey (1897-1981)

Historical Note: Adrian H. Lindsey (1897-1981) graduated from the University of Illinois in 1922 with a degree in Farm Management. During his time at the University, he played the cornet in some of the military bands. He continued his education after graduation, receiving a master's degree from Iowa State College in 1923 and a doctorate from Iowa State University in 1929. He became a professor of economics at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, and died in 1981.
