Historical Note:

Black Students for Revolution (BSFR) was founded in 2015 at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The group was previously known as the Student Pan-African Movement.1 The goal of BSFR is "to contribute to an intersectional movement that celebrates blackness in all its forms and helps to transform the structure of higher education within the United States."2 BSFR released a list of thirteen "Demands for a Transformed University" which was endorsed by twenty-six student and community organizations.3
