Records of the Committee on the Status of Women, which was appointed by the Chancellor to investigate issues affecting women as students, non-academic and academic personnel. The Committee first met on February 23, 1971. The records contain correspondence and background documents (1962-70), committee rosters, agendas, minutes, reports, correspondence, memoranda, and copies of publications relating to the status of women at the University of Illinois, on other campuses, and in non-academic settings.
