General Issuances file includes unnumbered communications to AALS member schools and deans relating to specific issues in legal education and law school administration, communications coming from either AALS headquarters or external sources; series also includes email messages sent to general membership ("e-blasts"), Web pages with description, histories, and privacy policy of AALS as well as operational procedures for the organization during the coronavirus (COVID) pandemic, advertisement of search for Executive Director, messages from AALS Executive Director and President, list of member deans, "Legal Education at a Glance" for 2018-20 (2019-21), and antiracism clearinghouse information (2020).

Print copies are held for communications to member schools and deans (1989-90, 1992-93, 1995-99, 2002-04, 2006).  Electronic PDF copies are held for e-blasts, description, history, policy statement, COVID procedures, search advertisement, leadership messages, dean list, "Glance," and clearinghouse material (2013-14, 2016- ).
