Title:
Natural History Museum Strauch (3)
Date:
April 1917
Description:

West Face of the Natural History Building taken from the west side. Originally built in 1892, and with major additions adding a 3rd floor in 1906, this image features an ivy-covered facade of the building with Harker Hall (former entomology building) standing to the right. The Natural History Building was designed by Illinois alumnus Nathan Ricker, the first architecture graduate in the U.S.

Further note: The file has been incorrectly labeled 1921, but the snow and date on the image suggests it was taken in April 1917.

The building is located at 1301 W Green St, Urbana, IL 61801
