Scooter Mailbox | University of Illinois Archives
A student kneels by a motor scooter parked at a bicycle rack. The scooter has a mailbox full of books affixed to its rear half. Weibel, an ingenious agricultural engineering student, fitted brackets into holes where seat and tire holder had been fastened. A plywood platform supports the mailbox.
