Description: Notebook of Frank Alois Pitelka (27 March 1916-10 October 2003) (AB, 1939), containing manuscript maps, notes, papers, and reports relating to an Animal Ecology course conducted by Professor V. E. Shelford, Department of Zoology. Pitelka went on to become a professor of zoology at the University of California, Berkeley, where he studied bird and mammal behavior and ecology in the Alaskan Arctic and California.
