Conference, Program, and Event Video Recordings contain 3/4" open reel, U-matic, Betamax, BetacamSP, and VHS tapes of NCTE conference sessions, programs, and events including recordings of the Annual Convention and Spring Workshop; session recordings from Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC, 1990-97) and Whole Language Umbrella conventions (1989 and 1992); NCTE introductory videos and a program by the NCTE Subcommittee on Information Literacy; master copies of programs sold by NCTE regarding standards, multiculturalism, curriculum, and the teaching of literature (1993); master copies of Professional Development Services resource package videos; award presentations, including Dolly Parton receiving the Literacy Award (1998); recordings of programs and events at schools. This series also contains ten Karex silverchrome video tape reels from the 1972 NCTE Minneapolis preconvention seminar.
