Papers of Morris L. Cohen (1927-2010), Librarian and Professor of Law and then Professor Emeritus at Yale Law School (1981-2010) and President (1970/71) of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL), include correspondence, newsletters, architectural plans, photographs, programs, publications, reports, studies, talks, and teaching materials concerning law librarianship, legal education, and the legal profession relating to AALL (1958-2001, 2004, 2006), Association of American Law Schools (1964-90, 1992-93, 1995-2002, 2004-08), American Bar Association (1976-77), American Society for Legal History (1989-94, 1998-2001, 2003-07), Canadian Association of Law Libraries (1970-71, 1973-74, 1977, 1986), Columbia University (1965-71, 1978-89, 1982-84), Drexel Institute of Technology (1963-70), New England Board of Higher Education (1984-90), Rare Book School (1968-69, 1975-76, 1979-80, 1982-83, 1985, 1987-90, 1993-ca. 2007), and Yale University (1980-2000, 2005, 2007-08), with correspondents including Bob Berring, Earl Borgeson, Arthur Charpentier, Marian Gallagher, Jane Hammond, Myron Jacobstein, Roy Mersky, Mary Oliver, Meira Pimsleur, Miles O. Price, William Stern, Erwin Surrency, and Diana Vincent-Daviss; files on academic and private law library planning (1968-90), copyright issues (1973-77), legal bibliography, online information systems for law libraries (NELINET, 1974, and LAWNET, 1979), and prison law libraries (1966-68, 1970-74) are also included.
