Description: William F. Whiteside (1927-2015) was an educator in Horticulture Food Crops at the University of Illinois - Extension Service from 1969 to 2015. He was a researcher of pesticides and weed control of different Midwest crops, such as pumpkins, sweet corn, and tomatoes and helped establish the St. Charles Horticultural Research Center in 1983.
