Description: Papers of the Wright Family (1918-2014), winners of the 2013 ACES Family Spirit Award, include materials from the College of ACES exhibit on the Wright family and documentation pertaining to their nomination for the ACES Family Spirit Award (2013). The Wright Family Papers also include student handbooks, homecoming pins, football game tickets, a commencement booklet and graduation tassels of Byron and Wilma Wright (1938), correspondence from Edgar Wright to his parents during WWI (1918), the passport and War Mothers and Widows Pilgrimage Certification of Mary Melcenia Wright, Alumni Association Life Member Certificates (c. 1926, 1938, 1969), photographs of the Wright family and the UIUC campus, and a DVD about the Wright family's relationship with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2014). The Wright Family Papers also include a "C. C. Wright" metal sign (#625) and George "Dewey" Wright's egg crate, c. 1926 (#635) in the Artifacts Collection.
