Block [also "Neil Bloch"] (1931-88), computer programmer, Jet Propulsion Laboratory senior research engineer (1960-66), and astrologer, including articles, certificates, computer printouts, correspondence, magazines, memoranda, notebooks, notes, photographs, and resumes relating to American Federation of Astrologers, astrology, astronomy, Donald Bradley, bridge, celestial mechanics, computer programming, ephemerides, Cyril Fagan, Fortran, fortune-telling, horoscopes, the International Society for Astrological Research, Charles Jayne, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, mathematics, Neil Michelsen, minicomputers, the National Council for Geocosmic Research, Pascal 2, Rosicrucian Fellowship, Sidereal Astrologers' Guild, South Western Astrological Conference, space exploration, and stock market prediction. The series also contains a letter box of Block's mother, Eleanor, as well as a small number of papers of Michael Erlewine (1941- ), founder of Matrix Software and the Heart Center Astrological Library.
