Papers of Maurice B. Cook (1909-2006) (attended College of Engineering 1934-1935), Chief Electrical Engineer with Bertand Goldberg Associates, contains biographical materials, correspondence, photographs, poetry, short stories, and technical drawings relating to work as a consulting engineer on electrical transformer and distribution systems in grain elevators, industrial, commercial and high-rise buildings, and materials-handling systems including Schlitz Brewery, Chicago Subway, Marina City Residential Towers, and McCormick Place Convention Center. This series also includes Cook's personal narratives, humorous short stories, poems, correspondence, and photography of figurines and nature.
