Fecker Brewing Company Records includes corporate meeting minutes (1890-1903); capital stock certificates (1897-1903); Ernest Fecker chemistry notebook (1903); records of weekly beer sales, (1909-1914), daily beer sales (1931-1932), daily keg and bottled beer sales, (1917-1918), and daily beer production (1904-1905); promotional advertising for Puritan Malt Company (1928-1930); IRS brewery production report, (1909-1923).
Col. Ernest Fecker embarked in brewing business under the name Fecker Brewing Company in approximately 1890 at a Dudley and Bloomington Road, and purchased the Fecker Brewing Company Plant in 1903.
According to the 1940 Danville City Directory the Fecker Brewing Plant was located at 329 E. North and brewed old exported beer, and Fecker?s Pilsener Beer. Col. Ernest Fecker Jr. was the owner of Fecker Brewery in Danville, and he served as President of the company until his death on November 25, 1925, in Missouri.
