Caption from Champaign-Urbana News-Gazette reads: "AUSTRIAN VISITORS. Dean Paul M. Green, left, of the University of Illinois college of commerce welcomes the 1,000th Austrian to come to the United States under the technical assistance program now directed by the Mutual Security agency. Gustav Kamschal of Vienna, with whom the dean is shaking hands, was among a group of 10 Austrian accountants who will spend five weeks studying American industry with the UI as their home base. Among them was one woman, Annamarie Filip, right. Next to Dean Green, is A. F. Maple, project manager of the Mutual Security agency."
