"Norman C. Nester, Civil Engineer for the Physical Plant of the University of Illinois (left) and Prof. John C. Guillou of the College of Engineering inspect a streamlined precast drain inlet designed by the latter. The new inlet is more efficient than the present type and will save $1,000 per mile of city streets."
