Illinois High School students participate in track and field events at the Interscholastic Track Meet in May 1936. This two-day event, held May 15th and 16th, brought over 600 students from across the state to compete in Memorial Stadium in this pre-cursor to the IHSA State Meet. This image features a student Pole Vaulting in the south end of the stadium while other students look on.
