US Agriculture Officials at a Horse Exhibition in Moscow
USDA Director of Information Claude Gifford accompanied Secretary of Agriculture Earl Butz and Assistant Secretary Clarence Palmby to Moscow to negototiate the sale of grain during a shortage in the Soviet Union. While there, they attended a horse exhibition at the Arabian Horse Farm on the outskirts of Moscow.
