Digital Surrogates of papers of entomologist Charles Robertson (1858-1935), including correspondence, reprints, and five ledgers containing data about bee research, and specifically the interaction between bees and the plants they polinate collected in Carlinville, Illinois. Correspondents include William H. Ashmead, Daniel William Coquillett, Howard M. Parshley, and Charles Haskins Townsend, among others.

Digitized materials include collection logs which document insect specimens collected by Charles Robertson. Recorded information includes specimen number, scientific name of specimen, sex of specimen, date of collection, locality, insect order, host plant scientific name, and notes.
