Description: NCTE Photographs File contains black-and-white and color prints, negatives, and 35 mm color slides of annual conventions, conferences, NCTE leadership and members, students and teachers, NCTE offices and headquarters (Chicago, Illinois, and Urbana, Illinois), and events including award ceremonies, luncheons, and banquets selected for NCTE publications and newsletters by publications director Felice Kaufman; includes photographs with markup for inclusion in NCTE publications such as the Council Chronicle and photographs adhered to board for display at events as well as enlarged newspaper clippings and documents adhered to board; also includes scrapbook containing photographs of construction of the NCTE Headquarters West Wing addition (1998).
