Description: Papers ( 1962-67, 2001) of Sheldon B. Rubin, '64 LAS, '66 VM, '68 DVM, include an Omega Beta Pi honorary certificate and newsletter (1962-63); Men's Residence Hall senior banquet program (1964); and photographs of Rubin's junior year veterinary class (1967), Block I (1965); Rubin and classmates studying for anatomy class (1964); the veterinary medicine building doorway (1964); and Dr. Rubin's appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show in Chicago (c.2001). The series also contains Rubin's five page letter (2001) which describes his student days at UI. Dr. Rubin was honored as an Illini Comeback Guest at Homecoming, 2001.
