Unit One administrative files (1968-2020) from directors Howard Schein (1980-2008) and Laura Haber (1999-2023) contain histories, reports, correspondence, student surveys, photographs, handbooks, brochures and fliers, posters, and news clippings relating to the establishment, evaluation and support of the program; course offerings; student orientation; publicity; program advisor, resident advisor, and teaching assistant training; Guest in Residence and other programming; and student work.

Digital files "Online Images/Records" are of posters (2017-2022) concerning Guest in Residence and other events; Program Advisor Sam Siner's orientation and advisor files including notes, reports, fliers, and publicity (2008-2009); and Resident Advisor Kimberly Flicker's files related to planning, budget, student activities and events (2004-2005).

Unit One is a living/learning community founded in Allen Hall in 1971.
