Image of an experimental house that accompanied an AP News piece about the house. The caption on back reads, "This experimental home is on the campus at the University of Illinois in Champaign. It can be readily changed to suit any floor plan. Erected a year ago, the house is used to study living habits of families. It presently is shaped to accommodate the eighth plan in a series of studies in which the third family is reporting its living habits in an effort to find the ideal plan for the small house. Traffic through the various house plans is clocked automatically by electronic eye."
