National Wheelchair Games File (1957-88) contains correspondence, forms, newspaper clippings, press releases, photographs, statistics, rosters, and programs concerning the operations of the National Wheelchair Games including participating athlete information, meal and housing arrangements, event listings and results, accounting, rosters, publicity, records, officials, volunteers, victory banquets, registration, advertising, fund raising, and rules. The majority of the materials deal with the 19th and 24th National Wheelchair Games (1975, 1980) which were held and organized in Champaign, IL. Major correspondents include Stan Labanowich, Kenneth S. Clarke, Benjamin H. Lipton, Robert J. Szyman, Timothy J. Nugent, and Phil Mirell.
