Biographical Note

The National Clearinghouse on Marital Rape (NCOMR) was formed in 1980 by Laura X.  It began as a project of the Women's History Research Center.  The organization aims "to make intimate relationships truly egalitarian." The Clearinghouse researches and complies materials on marital rape and marital rape cases.
