Consists of book catalogs showing titles, authors, prices and contents of materials in print and administrative records about the production of the book catalogs, documenting the books produced by the University of Illinois Press from 1921-2024. Notably, the series includes a special listing of Illini Books.
The University Press Board, created in 1957,1 advises the Director of the Press on matters of policy and administration. Its membership includes the Director of the Press, the Deans of the Graduate Colleges or their representatives, and five appointed faculty members. The President chooses these five after consultation with the Director of the Press and the Chairman of the University Council on Graudate Education and Research.2
