NASULGC Division of Urban Affairs File, contains publications (1982-92); Executive Committee meeting minutes, agenda, memoranda, and mission statements concerning the role of land grant colleges and universities in serving urban populations (1980-91); and correspondence, conference agendas, conference papers, membership lists, and materials concerning the revision of Title XI of the Higher Education Act (1975-92). Chairmen of the executive committee include: Thomas Bonner (1980-81); Del Weber (1983); Frank Horton (1984-85); and Donald Swain (1986-91).

The Department of Administration and Supervision was created in 1962 in a reorganization plan in the College of Education.¹ In 1973 the name was changed when the Department merged with former programs in Higher Education and Continuing Education. The Department now consists of three Divisions: the Division of Educational Administration and Supervision, the Division of Higher Education and the Division of Continuing Education of Adults.² The Department prepares students for professional positions in educational organizations, and conducts national and regional research programs.³

The Office for the Study of Continuing Professional Education was established in 1973,⁴ and serves as a center for the study of issues in continuing professional education in diverse career fields.⁵
