Aerial view, towards the northeast, of the campus of the University of Illinois with the construction site and the railroad spur to facilitate the construction of the Library in the center of the image. The main quad is to the north of that site and Urbana and Champaign County beyond to the northeast. The Parade Ground is located west of the Library site and the Animal Pathology Lab, the old experimental farm residence and barn complex and stock pavilion are located south of the Library site.
