Administrative History of Creating Unit
Appointed in 1943,1 the Associate Dean of the College of Agriculture is the director of resident instruction, including academic records and curricular activities, and serves as secretary of the college faculty. His functions were previously handled by an assistant dean.2

2. Directory, Faculty & Students, 1942, lists Robert R. Hudelson on p. 8 as Assistant Dean of the College of Agriculture. Ibid., 1943, lists him on p. 7 as Associate Dean.
