Description: Papers of Tom S. Hamilton (1894-1956), professor of animal nutrition (1937-62), including publications related to research in animal nutrition (1921-51) and committee files on Ph.D. language requirements (1948), the search for a Dean for the College of Agriculture (1951) and the selection of a President (1953-56). Prof. Hamilton was chairman of the Faculty Committee on selection of a President. His files include committee minutes, lists of names, diary (October 14-December 17, 1954); records of the non-academic and younger faculty subcommittees; correspondence with Herbert Megran, David D. Henry and Anthony Janata; records of visits and newspaper clippings.
