Historical Note: Edmund "Eddie" Charles Wall was the first-born son of Edmund A. Wall. An active clarinettist at age 9, Eddie Wall joined the Anglo-Canadian Leather Company Band when Herbert L. Clarke was conducting the group. He also performed with the Sousa band in 1925, playing with the group until 1931 and alongside his brother, Charles A. Wall, during the 1929 season. In addition, Wall became an active clarinettist in New York joining the New York Ballet Orchestra, the Metropolitan Orchestra, the Goldman Band, the Pryor Band, and several New York theatre companies.
