Scope and Contents of the Materials

Soviet-American Conference of Legal Scholars Project File (1962-65) includes correspondence, reports, and papers discussing topics on international trade.  Correspondents include Michael H. Cardozo (Executive Director), V. M. Chikvadze (chairman of institute in Moscow), Walter Gellhorn (President, 1963), and Gust A. Ledakis (Conference Director).  The conference was planned for June 23-27, 1965, and was to be the first of a series of conferences, but it was canceled in response to complications arising from the Vietnam War.
