Name: Wood, Susanne (1933-2019)

Historical Note: Susanne was an employee at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a research specialist after receiving her Ph.D. in plant pathology from the U of I. Her love for music led her to become the chimes master at the university's carillons at Altgeld Hall. She also played bass balalaika with the university's Russian Folk Orchestra.
