Description: Papers of Albert C. Spurlock, BS '38, MS '39, include photographs, correspondence and news articles relating to college friends, social activities and Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity (1930s); campus scenes (1930s); Spurlock's service in World War II (1942), and a 1994 UI alumni event. Also included is Spurlock's 1936 varsity track letterman's sweater. A newsclipping of the 50th anniversary of the Crispus Attucks High School basketball team's 1955 Indiana state championship (2005) includes Spurlock's role as assistant coach. Mr. Spurlock was a participant in the Student Life and Culture Archival Program's 2000-2001 Oral History Project (transcript included).
